Book: Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir

Project Hail Mary is a gripping, science packed thriller that shines with clever problem-solving and heartfelt moments. The premise: amnesiac astronaut Ryland Grace racing to save Earth with an unexpected alien ally, is brilliant and full of smart, grounded science.
It took me a while to get into it, though. The survival setup dragged a bit, so I’m docking one star for pacing.
The ending splits people 50/50, from what I’ve seen, but I loved its bittersweet, earned payoff. Can’t wait to see the movie.
