This is book 3 of the Lest Is Moore series. This book primarily follows Scott and Naz (bodyguard and band member). From a chance meeting in a club to an attempted secret affair, their relationship pushes boundaries.
It's nice to see a healthier version of the BDSM/kink community presented for a change! There is aftercare, the relationship isn't just about the power dynamic, and the emotional turmoil feels very real.
Every relationship has to face its challenges. In this case, it's set up after set up, secrets being revealed, and the past coming back to haunt them all. There are complicated family dynamics, found family challenges, and even the very real potential of losing it all.
The character development was good, the pacing excellent, plot was fun to watch unfold, and the spice level just right!
