How could he believe she would actually do that to him!! Its soooo his fault her life is now in peril! Such a stupid stupid vampire!
MASTER BOTOSONI is a story of betrayal and vengeance, secrets and sorcery, family and relationships, supernatural fire and obsession. Its a dark paranormal, fated mates, mysterious abilities, enemies to lovers, touch her and ☠️, age-gap, vampire mafia romance tale.
I love that this fast-paced tale that is full of suspense, danger, and lust has a sweet naive girl as the fmc. She is from a strong family-small world bond and has been brought (dragged) up with strict rules that she fears to break, leaving room for plenty of anticipation!
The lore was also a good concept, and I felt there could’ve been more background and details or history to help fill the story a little better however this is book 9 in a series and I started right here so I presume if I started at book one then I would have had all the meaty juicy bits I was so longing for.
What is better than an innocent virginal psychic,a bunch of sexy witches, a variety of other paranormal beings alongside a choice of super sexy alpha vampires who Reign supreme, are fiercely loyal, and will protect what is theirs no matter the cost. And its set In a remote town on the edge of the wilderness, where there are old world factions, greed and revenge, secret agendas, politics and a lot of secrets! That said, it was a quick read for me personally but I felt like I didn't want it to end and luckily its a nice long series! It does end in a cliff hanger just an fyi BUT it's not a 'destroy your heart and leave you hanging' ending so fear not!
I just loved Botosoni and Catina's story but I do wish there was more details and a little more temptress/teasing going on what with her being a sweet little virgin an' all.
I enjoyed Catina’s character and her background was quite different to most in this genre but I do wish we had a little more detail about both of them as it felt a little like here she is, in he walks, he carries her away and its love at first sight... and this story had so much more to offer the reader especially in the way these two connected.
I feel personally that the spicey scenes were a little rushed and although I loved the words chosen to describe the spice (for example the tip of her nipple/ instead of the nub of her nipple that I have read in other books) I was left feeling short changed and wishing that for her first time she got more... (don't we all...) -and the second time come to think of it... the spicey parts were wrote really well~ I'd say 2 chillies for this book as there is a little BDSM in the end of the story.
Told from dual first person perspectives This book is action-packed from beginning to end. I was really surprised that with all the extensive planning for a bloody war between the purebred vampires, rogues and shifters, it wasn't a violent book.
Altogether I am looking forward to the next one and if its as good as this I will have to start the series at book 1 just so I can know more! I need to know more Sylvia! (It's 2.52am and yes, I am now finishing this sentence and picking my kindle straight back up again for book 10!)
