After Saving Ella had me bawling, laughing, scared, scarred, traumatized, and then laughing again, I think I went into Loving Guy expecting to be equally wrecked.
And… it was just meh for me.
The characters were wonderful and the dichotomy between Monty and Guy was so much fun to read! They couldn't be more different, and watching them navigate each other had me entertained the entire way through. Their tension was DELICIOUS, the 🌶️ scenes were chef’s kiss!
I definitely enjoyed the book, but it just didn't leave the same impression as Saving Ella. It was a great read, I just wouldn’t pick it up for a reread.
