Dreams do and can come true, if you believe!
Live Big with Catch-M is book 8 of the Live Big Series. Catch-M introduces us to the tiniest spark of love, quite literally, shaped like a star, which is struggling with shadowy thoughts that feel scary and painful at first. When Catch-M realizes those thoughts are part of him, the story gently shows how accepting oneself and believing in yourself helps transform fear into strength. His wish for a braveheart sets off a beautiful journey filled with love, growth, and wonder after he was formed many years ago.
These two quotes from the book truly stand out to me and should be something memorable to remember, “Believe you’re extraordinary!” and “With bravehearts, we are the stars of our stories, shining and sharing love’s wondrous power everywhere.”
Catch-M fills himself with loving and believing thoughts so he grows brighter and bigger, becoming a braveheart star overflowing with joy. The story then shows what Catch-Ms are here to do, to help others grow their hearts big and bright to become bravehearts. When the baby cheetah gets separated from his mother and gentle encouragement from Catch-M and the kindness of a zebra, the cheetah finds courage, love, and the bravery to move forward. It’s a lovely reminder that being supportive and grateful can show the world what kindness and acceptance truly look like.
Paired with vibrant, eye catching illustrations that hold attention from start to finish, Catch-M is a powerful and uplifting story. It encourages children to chase their dreams, do good, believe in themselves, and remember just how extraordinary they already are.
The story also weaves in some learning facts without feeling like its too much. The ending includes a beautifully written note for little ones, reinforcing the idea that love lives inside their hearts, even on stormy days. There’s also a meaningful note for parents, teachers, and caregivers making this a wonderful shared reading experience.
Thoughtful details are sprinkled throughout, from the repeated bold “won” in wonderful (a clever reminder that love always wins) to the number 8 symbolizing infinity, and even the tiny helpers at the bottom of the pages…those magical ants with their rocks are easy to miss but fun to discover. This is a perfect book for little ones who need some gentle encouragement and as always, a perfect bedtime story.
