good. god. y'all.
okay, okay okay okay. So, I'll admit at this point in time in the series I was like ... what can possibly be next? Out of everything I would expect, this ... was not it.
this book was messed. up. but also amazing? I think. I will say, I almost dnf in the very beginning. I almost noped out so hard, but I'm really grateful that I didn't.

you can tell I'm like, stuck in the middle here, held hostage in this place of indecision , because I mean, the set up is PREPOSTEROUS. Big word. Big feelings. But it was also delicious. And horrible? And the development between these characters and what that meant especially LATER in the book, stunned me for how good it was.
tldr the build up took a minute. but the impact it left behind has me reeling.
