I. NEED. MORE.
This was WILD in the absolute best way.
The chemistry was insane, the writing was so much better than I expected, and somehow these characters were actually really well formed for a book that’s only 28 pages. I loved the little hints at both of their pasts, and by the end I genuinely cared about them.
The pacing was absolutely breakneck. There was basically no room to breathe, and there were probably more position changes than necessary in such a short amount of time, but honestly? I didn’t care. I finished this and immediately wanted more.
I want to see these two actually fall in love now that they have each other, and I also desperately want to know who else is in this universe.
Basically, Halle Dawson, you have my attention. I am already feral for the next book.
