The text of this book is amazing. Truly. An insanely creative and imaginative retelling of the Hunchback. The twists, the turns, the characters, the setting, everything is brilliant. However, in audio? This is a whole new freaking world. Corvin King and Celia Stone took this incredible story to new heights, and I was absolutely rapt. The voice acting is top notch and takes the emotional punch of this story up by a factor of like ... I can't even. I wound up listening to this twice back-to-back because I was just so enraptured.
Absolutely phenomenal job connecting the right voices with the right text.
