This was an easy 5 star read for me. From the very beginning, this book completely pulled me back into the world and refused to let go.
The chemistry and tension between the characters were EVERYTHING. The emotional pull throughout the story hit so hard, and I genuinely could not put this down. Every chapter kept making me say “just one more,” and suddenly I was flying through the book completely obsessed.
What really stood out to me though were the relationships between the characters. The reluctant allies dynamic, the found family moments, the loyalty, the emotional connections… it all worked so well together and made the story feel even more immersive.
The plot also completely surprised me. Some of those twists genuinely caught me off guard, and that ending had me sitting there staring at the page like WHAT THE HELL???
If you love fantasy romance with addictive chemistry, emotional tension, high stakes, and characters you become emotionally attached to, I highly recommend this
