Lola and her daughter, Katie, are moving to their new home, their own house in Pinegrove, GA from their rental house in Atlanta. As Lola is filled with anxiety and nervous about the move, she’s also excited about the move for a fresh start somewhere new. Javi is well known for his bachelor status and not looking to settle down. Until an unexpected encounter at the community center for Hero Day left Javi thinking about other things and maybe even future plans. I love how this book gave me all the warm, fuzzy feelings and I enjoyed the humor and banter throughout as well. All these characters feel real and relatable, even showing vulnerable moments.
While this is the fourth book of the series, it can be read as a standalone. I’ve not read any of the others and didn’t feel like I was missing anything. Libby Kay’s books are always a good heartwarming and cozy feeling type of read. A must read for anyone who loves small town romance that’ll stay with you long after you’ve finished reading it.
