Absolutely amazing! Great narrator and great stories!
I loved the inflections and tones of the narrators voice, it was refreshing to be able to tell one character from the next, especially male and female.
The books themselves were so well paced and easy to get lost into! The world building was clear and detailed and yet it wasn't heavy or overwhelming.
I loved the banter and ex boyfriend energy of shade, his character was especially strong and I felt and believed everything about him. I enjoyed how cocky he was and his powers and strength really suited him.
On the subject of characters I felt the character growth throughout the story. Each side character had a role to play and were never forgotten about, they also grew and developed and had a rightful place in the plot.
I hold my hands up as a now and forever devoted fan of Carrie Pulkinen, whatever she writes, I will read.
