Fantasy First is a short novella of the Lustspur series.
Sage receives a mysterious invitation to an exclusive event that requires an NDA to be signed. At first Sage dismisses it and was going to throw it in the trash until her roommate Gabby keeps nagging for her to see what it’s about.
This was an easy, fast read. While it does have some potential it did fall a little flat for me. I can see where it’s going and it would be better if there was more expanded content and didn’t feel so rushed. I was very confused by the last paragraph in the first chapter at first. I went back and forth between 2-3 pages just to make sense of it. That dramatic shift all at once was pretty confusing at first. Overall it was a decent short read setting up the next book in the series, hopefully there’s more to the second one.
