Review: Faking with the Fae King

Book: Faking with the Fae King by Krista Luna

Adorable, cosy, a sassy fox familiar and a shadow daddy - need I say more? Hannah the Mayor is just discovering she is a witch when Severin turns up with his castle and a fake dating proposal - one year (and one day) of marriage in return for saving her small town. Who could resist? Just one teeny tiny problem, she has to face off against other magical suitors to "win" his hand. If you've ever read a Krista Luna book before you'll know what to expect - cosy vibes, sassy women (and familiars), magical shenanigans, humour, banter and spicy spice. You might also recognise some characters! Faking with Fae King is all of the above, and Hannah's friends make an amazing coven (and incredible cocktails). I really enjoyed the trials that the suitors had to complete and the creative ways each suitor completed the task. The magic was interesting but still cosy and good vibes. Also totally relatable the need for exquisite baked goods 😂
