Dream Big is book 2 of the Live Big Series. We first meet Baboon, who is kinda grumpy and grouchy with a little bit of a naysayer attitude. When Caterpillar wishes on a twinkling starhe could fly, Baboon makes Caterpillar feel sad and goes into a cocoon. A wonderful story to teach children about going after they’re dreams and believing in themselves.
I just love these kinds of books. They’re full of vibrant eye-catching colors and illustrations that are beautiful and elegantly crafted. The lesson of believing in oneself and never giving up on your dreams is woven within the storyline wonderfully. The author even adds in some fun facts about every unique character at the bottom of the pages. There are some great notes at the end of the book as well as a few craft ideas and games for children to do and enjoy. Definitely recommend this book if your child is struggling with confidence and believing in themselves.
