Cora doesn't have long to live and has come to terms with this, but wants to make her vampire film before she goes. After an on-set mishap she is looking for a new leading man who will embody the villainous vampire she has in her mind. Saiden is the enforcer, who spends his time hunting down rogue vampires, who is sent to shut down Cora's production for getting a little too close to the truth. The last things he was expecting to find is that Cora is his mate. To buy some time Saiden promises to take her to his boss, to plead her case. Can she convince the higher ups the let her movie be made?

Both Cora and Saiden are slightly snarky and sassy but ultimately they are both sweethearts. They go head to head with their witty banter and Cora is not going to make it easy on Saiden, even if she does find him incredibly attractive. Their chemistry grows as they spend time together and once they arrive at the compound things start to really heat up. There are a lot of laugh out loud moments and the side characters are interesting, I'm so keen to see where this series goes.

I had a great time reading Don't Bite the Director - it's a genre shift for T.M. Kirk whose fantasy book The Diamond Palace I have read and loved. I'm definitely going to be reading whatever they write next regardless of genre!

Thank you to T.M. Kirk and Naughty Nook PR for the ARC, my opinion is my own.
