May is an independent woman who has been burned in the past, she's reluctant to trust anyone enough to love them.

Raf is a chef who has lost his passion and needs something, or someone, to inspire him again.

This was a smoking hot hate to love romance. May and Raf are at each others throats, taunting the other and making it very clear their disdain for each other. Until Raf finds May in danger and forces throw them together to face their true feelings. Cue some exquisite slow burn will they won't they, as well as some rather sweet and adorable moments.

This is my first time reading Bridie Charles and I really enjoyed it. This is book 2 in the Ruby Cove series, I'll definitely be going back to read book 1 to catch up on Isla and Caio's story.
