Holy mother of dragons is this a good Audiobook!
The narrator did a superb job! Her emotions came through with her reading, changing her tone of voice, adding brilliant vocal inflections and separate character voices made this a delight to get lost in!
High fantasy, delicious spice, amazing characters, detailed and layered plot and a ton of traumatic history between all 3 of the main characters!
Furthermore, I loved the magical library, the familiar, the magic system, the whole rebel/ out lore vibes and the politics of the world.
I will admit that the why choose of it all was a bit contradictory and the reasoning was not quite right.
I was not expecting it to end there!! Seriously! What happened! Who was on the floor? What happened with the order? Who is winning the civil war? Where is her familia?! WHEN IS THE NEXT BOOK OUT?!!
HIGHLY RECOMENDED!
