Mercy Brown is the snarky, bada$$ witch turned vampire that ends up being thrown into chaos when she finds out her brother, long dead brother has made his way back from Hell, quite literally, and he hasn’t came alone. He’s brought a companion, a hellhound and with every kill the he does is making him stronger, which is putting Mercy’s throne and life on the line.
If you crave books that have Vampires, witches and magic this one is for you. Bloody Queen is the first book of The Fury of the Vampire Witch. The story delves deep into the world of supernatural urban fantasy packed with magic, power and loyalty to the Queen. This is a fast paced fantasy with snarky comments, witty banter and full of bite! Vivid world building with the gothic charms of supernatural New Orleans to Exeter. This audiobook is narrated by Kelley Hazen who does a wonderful job! There are also special sound effects in this audio. This is the first book by Theophilus Moore that I’ve read and one that I will read more of, especially this series. This slow burn that’s laced with passion, power and morally grey royalty will have you saying, “Just one more chapter.”
