Book 2 of the series, I have not read book one. I don’t feel like there’s much that I’m missing from book 1, but it was recommended to read first before reading book 2. Definitely check the trigger warnings as there are a lot and yes, they’re in the book. Started off super slow, took me until chapter 111 to get to the point where every time I started to read it I didn’t fall asleep and it still seemed to drag on. The book starts off with Margaux and Timmy and a domestic violence situation. Dex is watching and waiting in the background to one day claim Margaux as his own all while making Timmy spiral. To me this book was about 500 pages too long. While the storyline was good, it bored me
