I had a good time with Barbarian Alien. The world building is solid, the romance hits the right notes, and Ruby’s style is as addictive as ever. It’s a fun, steamy continuation of the series that kept me turning pages.
That said, Liz and Georgie were a bit too annoying for my taste in this one. Their personalities and interactions grated on me more than I expected, and it pulled me out of the story, making me skim some of the pages to get through Liz's insufferable personality.
