Great story with a good amount of details, plot twists, and callbacks that all blended seamlessly into the story. The emotional pieces really suck with me through the story. I loved the details and the way the FMC's grief, trauma, and inner turmoil were shown and handled. The character growth is noticeable. FMC was relatable (dragons not withstanding) and of course I love a good "He falls first, falls HARD, and YEARNS" trope.
