Mia is a teacher who is trying to save her friend's job by making a success of an advanced placement program. Theo is the chiropractor grumpy single dad of Mia's student Kira. Mia and Theo are thrown together so many times, but they seem to really dislike each other. Until they don't. But Mia can't fall for her student's father and risk the program, and Theo can't break Kira's heart by hooking up with her teacher. But the fire between these two ... šŸ”„

The banter between Mia and Theo is great, they really snipe at each other. But once they realise they are falling, the tension and slow burn is chefs kiss and although this is a rom-com there are emotional moments. When things started heating up it got real steamy 🄵

I really loved Theo's backstory, he was dealing with grief and loss in a different way than I've read before, which made it so much harder for Kira when it came to a potential new partner for her Dad. Kira is such a sweetheart, she put up with so much bullying at school which was very relatable, as was the anxiety that she and Lilly (Mia's co-worker and friend) experienced.

Thank you to Demi Blaize and Luna Literary for the advance copy, my opinions are my own.
