Amico Dominant Love Duet was a very good mafia romance packed with violence, secrets, lies, action, mystery, twists, and so much heat.
Leonardo and Mia’s story is dark, dangerous, and full of that classic mafia tension where you never fully know who can be trusted. Leo is ruthless, dominant, and completely tangled up in the one woman he was never supposed to want. Mia’s life is wrapped in mystery, hidden danger, and a past that connects to Leo in ways neither of them fully understands at first.
I loved the intensity between Leo and Mia. Their chemistry was explosive, obsessive, and full of that push-and-pull tension that makes mafia romance so addictive. The hidden notebook, the family secrets, the rival bloodlines, and the power struggles kept the story moving fast.
My biggest issue was Leo keeping secrets from Mia, especially when he claimed to love her more than anything. I understand he believed he was protecting her, but secrets are never truly safe. Not in love, and definitely not in the mafia. When secrets are flowing around, danger always finds a way in.
This book gave modern mafia Romeo and Juliet energy with dominance, submission, betrayal, inherited trauma, and a love that feels both like salvation and destruction. That cliffhanger definitely leaves you needing the next book.
