Avoid. Soooo dull and uninspired. Really slow, full of editing mistakes from spelling errors, past and present tense errors and the author even gets confused with who is speaking as we're in a multi POV book but in the fmc pov it suddenly says things like 'a pleasure that left HER where the rest of the paragraph states he put his arms around ME'
The author throws in that a character is gay- erm, OK, and? You don't introduce all your other characters as 'their straight friend Billy Bob xyz....' so why make a point of throwing this at the reader instead of allowing the story to show us and letting the plot just real us in...?!
Also, this author is another one who calls the vulva a 'sex' arghhhh no! Cringe! Her sex is female, sex is a question not a label!
I forced myself to 20% and couldn't take it anymore. I love a shifter romance, I love a dark romance, I love shifter packs but this was like reading a first draft essay from a high school kid. no world building, no character growth no showing- just telling. this was my first and last sj Salvador book.
also-Seeing as this has been re branded with a new cover, you'd have thought all the simple little editing mistakes would have been caught long ago. Sloppy and lazy book.
