I wish Goodreads would let you do a 4.5, because that is what I think it deserves..
I received an ARC of this book and finished it yesterday. The beginning of the book was a little rough in my opinion and was difficult to get through. In the first 20 pages or so, the writing was a little strange to me and I think that section could be re-written to be a little more engaging. Alas, I did push through and ended up really enjoying this book. If you are into a slow burn with really good smut.. this book is for you.. but keep an open mind since the smut is with a monster.. lol. Orpheus is a great character and I liked him.. The story was engaging and I can see other places this series can go and grow. Looking forward to the other books in the series.
