In Reasonable Doubt, we meet Casper Malak, a defense attorney based in NY. We also encounter Sean Lancaster, an ex-marine accused of murdering a crime boss.
I found this book to be quite interesting and engaging throughout. Casper's personality was intriguing. He reached his lowest point and vowed never to handle murder cases again. He seeks redemption through handling Sean's case but ultimately falls in love. I enjoyed the courtroom scenes and watching how skilled Casper was as an attorney. It was an interesting tale that ended on a positive note.
