This was a short read filled with elemental water Fae, pirates and a thief, action, adventure and a little bit of romance. I was able to finish the whole thing very quickly. It almost seemed to be more of a contemporary romance than an actual romantasy or fantasy.
"I'd never say no to bread. Anyone who did was a fool in my book."
That being said, I actually enjoyed the story and the characters a great deal. I wish it was developed into a full, longer story with a lot more detail and breathing room. This was a 4⭐️ read for me. The banter was cute and there were some quotes I really enjoyed. I was left wanting more. A FMC obsessed with bread and treasure and a MMC obsessed with her? Okay I'm here for it.
