It is pretty much a given that I will leap on any book with 'Witch' in its title or description.
The synopsis for To Drown A Witch had me incredibly excited with its promises of action, murder, mystery, romance, and of course, witches.
On the all elements, other than romance, thos book certainly delivered on it's promises, and kept me keen for its development. As for the romance, this never really took off. There just wasn't enough of a foundation for it to be built on and I just couldn't but into or believe it.
Had the book description no mentioned romance, I would have finished this book much happier and satisfied, with the feeling of the possibility of romance to come in the next book.
Overall, I had a good time with To Drown A Witch and it was a solid 3.5 ⭐️'s.
Please note, this is book one in a series, and as such, has a cliffhanger ending.
I will be following Linsdey Olsson and her future releases going forward as I firmly believe, things are just going to keep getting better.
I would like to thank HarperCollins and Netgalley for allowing me to read an early copy of this book.
All opinions are my own.
