How soon is too soon to reread a book? When I say I ate up Prey for Me, I mean it. I consumed this book, unable to put it down until I finished it. If I thought I enjoyed Willing Prey it had NOTHING on Prey for Me. My heart was pounding with anxiety and anticipation the whole time. And the way Caine is obsessed with Margot?? HOT is an understatement. BUT check your triggers for this one because Margot has an abusive ex-husband who is out to get her and Caine has a history of child abuse that is referenced.
Caine has been obsessed with Margot ever since their first meeting 5 years ago. How did they meet? Caine has worked at a haunted house every year since he was a teen. 5 years ago Margot filled in as Little Red Riding Hood in a scandalous scene with Caine playing the Big Bad Wolf, and you could say she made quite the impression. The next time they meet Caine learns, much to his dismay, that Margot is now engaged. But here we are 5 years later and now that he knows she is finally single he has no plans of letting her get away.
