Is this spicy? Undeniably! Did I absolutely want to fall in love with this? Yes! As someone who tends to read and enjoy the spicier things over the holidays, I was looking forward to Playing My Holiday. It has a good combination of sports, billionaire, workplace, and romance rolled into one, and best of all, it’s a standalone! The pacing is really fast and at times it felt frustrating because it made the story feel disjointed. At the same time, it also matches the overall mood as the characters come to terms with their growing and evolving relationship with one another, which makes it very entertaining to see how different personalities come together.
