Oh my, this series will be the death of me!
I can't even put into words how much I loved the first book, and now Ava and Valen's story has left me SO mushy and all over the place.
I love a good romance, but I love mature characters who can actually work through things even more. Ava is a ray of sunshine, and I adore that she still had her dark moments and didn't completely hide from her shadow side. And Valen? Just the dream. What can I say, I love my book boyfriends broody (even if I still prefer the unhinged ones :D).
The plot in this one really started tying the whole series together, and I cannot wait to go back to this world in book three with our handsome, funny demon. I have a feeling it's going to be a ride!
