I am a simple reader. You put Greek mythology in a book and I am probably going to pick it up.
PHARMAKOS was such an interesting blend of contemporary billionaire romance and Greek mythology romantasy. I really enjoyed watching those elements come together.
The multiple POVs kept me invested because I was always trying to figure out how everything would connect. I love when a story gives me enough pieces to theorize without giving everything away immediately.
There were definitely moments where I wanted more detail and expansion, and a few sections that felt like they could have been trimmed. It also took me longer than usual to read because life was lifeing, so I think that may have affected the pacing for me.
Overall, I had a good time with this book and I am excited to see where the next installment goes.
Also... Emily. That final line was rude because ow I have to wait!
