This series has been SO amazing, and I'm so grateful to have been on the entire ride! Shaedes of War is the conclusion of the series. In this installment, the 5 Shaedes face so many challenges as the fight for peace instead of war. I swear, every time something resolves, something else comes up!
I love that Opal, Edmyn, and Farris as still strong as ever. I really love how they love each other, and take care of each other. And I love how Edmyn and Farris' bond has gotten stronger. It feels like forever.
Markis and Dru are adorable! Dru is super committed to her position as a Shaede. While it is admirable of her, in this book it goes against everything she feels. I was heartbroken for her! I loved how their bond grew and how loyal and devoted Markis was to Dru. Although, I just couldn't get into how Markis spoke haha! It gave me pirate vibes :)
Lennyx and Glory are so cute as well! I am so happy that they are doing well and that they can be a comfort to each other. They both deserve it!
Collin is the cutest! They all treat him like family and I love how he is respectful of them even though Farris is his brother. It was great to see him grow up and come into his own!
As always, the story and the characters and the world building were all amazing. Jenny is an amazing writer, and I'm so thankful to be on her team! One thing that really stood out to me that I LOVED was the part about Edmyn's lemon tree. So sweet and I smiled the entire time! I loved it for him and I loved how tenderly and carefully it was written!
I know this series is over (sad), but I can't wait for Jenny's next book!!
