Past the Whistle tells the story of two rival wrestlers who fall in love with each other. The book introduces us to Daniel and Alex.. Both are professional wrestlers competing in the sport.. Following a tournament in which Daniel clung to Alex for 40 seconds, their thoughts about each other shifted beyond competition. Eventually, they begin hooking up, which results in them falling in love.

I enjoyed this book. The story of the journey Alex and Daniel experienced while falling in love was a great read.. I have to admit that I found it difficult to get into it initially. It went on for quite a while and felt slow. I'm happy I stuck with it because in the end, it turned out to be quite good. I truly liked the characters of Alex and Daniel.. Although they were very different, their personalities complemented each other. I'm eagerly anticipating the release of book 2 and can't wait to read it.
