I had to keep my reaction immediately after finishing the book: I really need the ability to give select books more than five stars ❤️

Mothman…but make him a Shadow Daddy?
Lee has been an “if they write it I read it” author for me since Beyond Time. In every book, I have hundreds of highlights because the language is so dark and beautiful.
Pareidolia was an absolutely incredible horror romance, and like always, I had so many favorite quotes:
He screams my name the same way humans shout to their God—for mercy and salvation.
Aspen and Nox were two monstrous red flags that wrapped perfectly around each other. Their attraction is electric: a killer who doesn’t feel emotions and the monster who feeds on them. Their bond is forged in darkness, solidified as they bleed for each other.
I liked that they each gave each other things they didn’t know they needed or were capable of. As their connection deepens, they both evolve to fill each other’s missing pieces. Instead of trying to repair the broken bits, they spill into each other.
While the book is dark and definitely horror, our main characters get their hard-won HEA.

I received an advance copy of this book from the author at no charge. This is my honest, voluntary review.
