Rina, a witch from Pleasant Grove, just can't catch a break when it comes to romance. One day, while hanging out with her coven, she meets Ezra, who's a grumpy vampire. Following an injury sustained during an attack, she volunteers to provide him with her blood. Turns out, much to their dismay, they're fated mates. They're both against it and are now trying to figure out how to undo their bond. Their bond strengthens throughout their travels. I liked this story, it was cute. Rina and Ezra have great chemistry, but it's a slow burn. It was great when they finally gave in to each other. Plenty of spicy stuff happens.
Their bickering got a bit much sometimes. I get it was the whole point, but it dragged on a bit.
This was my first book in the series and I found it to be really sweet and funny. I'm eager to get to the other books. Paranormal and Slow Burn fans will particularly enjoy this
