You see, the only differences between medicine and poison are dosage and intent.
First of all I am not historical girly but first sentence of blurb for this book just caught my attention and I needed to read it. And I was not disapointed.
Belladonna Moon was such a page turner for me. I needed little time to get my brain to understand it is historical fiction but once it got I got so many giggles from the way our FMC thought about being modest and MMCs way of speaking holly hell can you imagine that mens today would use language like they used in colonial era? :D Women would hear something like this:
" You’re just like a flower. Sweet and quiet, but you brighten up every room you’re in. That’s why, though I will undoubtedly become less charming the more you get to know me, I will always be affectionately"
a nd we would blush like teenegers even in our 30s (well if we live to our 30s :D) Okay I am loosing track again what I wanted to say is that I love how this book made me feel like I am in colonial Savanah and spark my interest about that era.
When it comes to story it griped me and did not let go I just loved our FMC her fierce but kind heart. The way how she thought about hereself and people around her.
Mystery in book was fun it surprised me in some places and in some I was like "I knew he was suspicious!!!" and I was so proud about myself :D
All and all this book was fun quick read that really suprised me how much I loved it. If you want to be transfered into colonial Savannah and your heart sings for herbs and magic this one will make you really happy.
