ARC Review: One True Annoyance by Bethany Monaco Smith
Not something I’d normally pick up, but I’m so glad I gave this ARC a chance! It’s cute, fast-paced, and had me smiling, giggling, and laughing throughout.
I appreciated how the author explored anxiety, mental health struggles, and insecurities. I enjoyed the main characters, and the secondary characters had their moments to shine, too! My only critique is that some parts felt rushed, and I would have loved a little more depth in certain areas.
🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ for spice, in my opinion! Others might rate it a three. 😉
Overall, this was a fun, charming read that pushed me outside my usual comfort zone. If you enjoy rom-coms with humor, character growth, some spice, and meaningful mental health representation, this one is worth adding to your TBR! While a few areas could have used more development, I’m glad I gave it a chance.
