This story is about Jasper and Chesney. They are neighbors, and their families have an ongoing feud. They decided to secretly become friends when they were young, a friendship that evolved into a romance. Chesney moves after a tragedy, breaking Jasper's heart. 20 years later, they must work together to save Jasper's Ranch. This book had cowboys in love, pining, and tragedies. This book had me in tears on numerous occasions. It was clear that Jasper and Chesney were meant to be a couple. It was great seeing them unite to rescue the ranch.
Jasper really was a sweetheart. He couldn't forget Chesney. Despite Chesney's actions, he was still there for him.
This was a 5-star book. I couldn't stop reading it. Jasper and Chesney's love story was so beautiful. If you're into MM cowboy romances with a secret, this is for you.
