Callie and Foster’s accidental pregnancy romance delivers humor, heat, and surprising emotional depth. Beyond the one-night stand, the story explores complicated family dynamics and what happens when you finally let yourself fall.
Callie is a fantastic FMC. I love that her independence and self-reliance don’t take away from her softness. I also love that she never plans on keeping the pregnancy from Foster, even when she assumes she’ll be single-parenting. Her work as a podcaster is unique, and it sounds like something I would absolutely listen to.
And Foster. What isn’t there to love about a tattooed “bad boy” who isn’t so much bad as he is broken by childhood trauma? I love how instantly invested he is in Callie’s pregnancy — attending appointments, showing up consistently, and referring to the baby as “ours.” And the spicy lessons on intimacy? I appreciate a man who wants to learn.
I still have a thousand questions about Foster’s relationship with his twin brother, Decker. I am so ready for the next book in the series!
