Book two brings back everything I loved about the first: with, magic, family bonds and plenty of banter.
We’re back with Azaria as she sets out to save her father, all while discovering and learning to control her new abilities. Her relationship with Nikolas develops further too, and the chemistry between them continues to keep you turning the pages.
I especially loved the South African references throughout both books. I found myself looking up the places and words I didn’t know, and I genuinely loved learning something along the way.
The humour and banter woven throughout, the pace keeps you hanging on every word, and the story pulls you straight back into Azaria’s world.
Another brilliant addition to the series. I’m officially impatient for Nikolas’s POV.
