I was so excited to read this one after the introduction to Sebastian in the Kings of Castlebrook series. He did not disappoint. I’m obsessed with how obsessed Sebastian is. I would absolutely devour his 6'5" self. He does some serious caretaking — grilled cheese sandwiches included — and honestly, that more than makes up for the stalking… right?!
And Livingston? I love that she protects herself and isn’t just a damsel in distress. She’s already evaded multiple attempts on her life and knows to watch her surroundings and carry pepper spray. It always gets me when the MMC doesn’t have to protect her, but she allows him to because she shouldn’t have to be strong all the time.
The suspense in this book was top-notch. I did not see the ending coming.
I absolutely cannot wait for the next book. Jeremy is unhinged in a truly delightful way. The way he was so bothered by women on campus being interested in him had me literally laughing out loud, and his “meet-cute” with his FMC had me dying.
