This was adorable and sweet and hilariously funny. I went back to my days in college reading Sir Gawain and then cackling.
Sir Roderick is cursed. Literally. Having the worst week. He keeps dying. Isolde is trying VERY HARD not to connect with people right now but she’s trying to help with the whole death thing. Edwyn, well, he’s a ghost so his issues are hardly at issue.
Together, the three of them make for quite a tale as they try to figure out how to keep Sir Roderick from staying dead or undead or … whatever.
Hardly the tale of bravery and knightly quests I’m used to reading but a delightfully fun journey. Magic and mystery and even a smidge of courtly love (and more)!
