Sadly, this book wasn't for me.
The story is not as simple as it seems and full of mysteries. If you like magic, alchemy, secret society, murder mysteries; this is for you 🧙🏻♀️I was so excited about the synopsis and the vibe. Lynn D Jung writes beautifully and established the perfect french gothic melancholic atmosphere. It felt like we were in Oxford or Poudlard!
I don't know what happened but I never got into the story. I wasn't invested in any character arc or story line. As I didn't care about anything, the book felt long and I started to skip some paragraphs at the end...
I can still recognize that the book is good and well written! Just not for me.
