Rebellious Giselle has a type of magic that is forbidden. She is about to be cut off by her parents, so she escapes to Dire Academy a month early before they can take that away. She witnesses something when she gets there and is now being watched by a couple dangerous brothers Draven and Dax. She is trying to fit in and learn magic but keeps finding herself near trouble. Towards the end twists are revealed and ends of a cliffhanger. Need to read book 2 to find out what happens. I enjoyed this book and definitely will need to read book 2 to find out more.
