Winnie and Bastian are my favorite! Like ughh normally I'm not a fan of the miscommunication trope but here it is so charming you kind of just want to take the two main characters and shake them a little bit to free them from their silly goosery.
The audiobook narrators were absolutely perfect, they both had exactly the right level of nervous energy that I felt from these characters. I would love to see this as an animated feature (2D HAND DRAWN, GIMME THE GOOD STUFF!!!), because the descriptions are just so rich and the world just feels lush.
Put this at the top of your cozy romantasy TBR (or TBL if you keep those separate) because it's every bit as sweet and delightful as the cover!
