The story was charming and sweet, with just the right amount of spicy elements to keep things interesting. I really adored the characters and appreciated that the story had very little angst. I had fun reading this one. Joey and Patrick shared a bond that was both cute and stable. Their chemistry with Scotty was off the charts. I loved how tender and vulnerable they were with each other. It was a holiday tale that combined sweetness with a lot of spice.
