I was given an ARC copy of this book and I was absolutely giddy while reading it. Rooster and Markus are two of the most adorable MMCs I've read in a while but more importantly... Rufus and Drusilla. I have never been more invested in the story arc of two doggies than I was in than in this book. Come for the amazingly wonderful, complicated, and complex love story between Rooster (Adam) and Markus but stay for Rufus and Dru stealing every scene they're in. Aside from the love story we've got friends, family, and small town wonderfulness and every bit of it is delightful and made for an A+ read from start to finish. I had not read the first two books in this series and I plan on changing that with the quickness!
