I had the opportunity to listen to this audio ahead of its launch. Zoey and Liam are the main characters in My Emergency Contact is a Wolf Shifter. Zoey is a strong, independent woman coping with PTSD due to her childhood experiences. Liam is a wolf shifter working at the lodge where Zoey stayed. He is both loving and very protective. They come together following an accident that Zoey experiences at the lodge. Since she didn't have anyone else, she ends up listing him as her emergency contact.
I found this book to be really cute overall, though there were a few moments when Zoey's behaviour started to get on my nerves. She acted a bit harshly toward Liam. Liam was truly a sweetheart. I really liked his personality.
Bobbi and Markie totally steal the show. Bobbi's an 11-year-old who lives in Zoey's building. She was super funny, and her back-and-forth with everyone was great. Markie's Zoey's parrot who chats and is super hilarious.
I found this audiobook to be quite enjoyable and well-produced. The narrators did a fantastic job. Particularly when they did the voice work for Bobbi and Markie. The narration made me enjoy this story a lot more.
