Book: Moss and Mirrors by Nicole M. King

Rating: 3/5
Moss and Mirrors follows a young woman named Quinn, who has spent fifteen years learning how to survive conditional help and manipulative environments. She is removed from a cult and she is placed under the care of a specialist named Gabe at a quiet house deep in the Louisiana bayou. This story explores trauma, control, and psychological safety. It has a dramatic twist near the end that left me with so many questions and thinking/reflecting on everything that happened. The writing style was different then I am used to and took some adjusting but once I got in to it, it began to make more sense.
